Once again a guest of local -- and excellent -- medical facility due to yet another complication of new status as lifelong cardiac patient.... For those of you oblivious, a hematoma is a blood clot in tissue, not venous system...somehow I've developed several in lots of places, most pesky is my leg. They do self destruct but very slowly, hence this!!!
A week plus now and things are improving and my exercise has paid off handsomely once again. That plus expert boy surgeon...had to be under 30....are putting me right as rain...
Apologies if you are grossed out but promise will return to guilty stuff next post....
Not grossed out -- just hope you get to feeling better soon. ~Mindy
ReplyDeleteOh, Grace! Hope you're back upright soon -- especially with the impending move! I send a hug and a prayer.
ReplyDeleteOuch! Not for me because I am not grossed out at all. Prayers to you for all the patience you need as your body heals. I hope you will not be in any pain.
ReplyDeleteOh Dear. Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Take care.
ReplyDeleteGrace, I hope you are on your feet soon. Take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteOh, my, that looks painful. Do they have you elevate your leg? I hope you're better soon and back home so you can do the things you enjoy. Take care!
ReplyDeleteOh no Grace, I come back from my blogging hiatus to find this! I am so sorry! Hope all heals well. I am happy to see you too are doing the Quiltmania mystery. I love your color choices! Just got step #2 issue on Friday so away we go! Take Care!!
ReplyDeleteoh no indeed...complications too....illness weary as i'm sure you can understand...
DeleteGood Lord .... hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh bummer... Heal fast!!
ReplyDeleteYou had doogie howser eh? haha!
I am glad you are getting good care, but SO sorry to hear about the complications to your health.
ReplyDeleteIsn't is shocking how young doctors are seeming these days? I am dreading when a couple of my doctors retire (which is probably soon), and will be replaced by people younger than my kids and barely older than my grandkids!
Praying for you, my friend!
Measured 1x2x8 inches....uber painful
DeleteGrace, No! I had no idea. Prayers raised for smooth sailing ahead. Sending much love and big hugs as you endure this time on the sidelines.
DeleteHope you recover soon! Looks painful ...
ReplyDeleteHope you're making a good recovery Grace, so sorry you're laid up. I look forward to seeing the next project you tackle, you seem to have been on a roll over the last few months. I've enjoyed looking in over the last few years but rarely comment. I'll keep you in my prayers for happier times ahead, stay positive much love, Elaine in UK x
ReplyDeleteTake care grace..... Hope you are healing well
ReplyDeletePrayers raised continually, you're in good hands; God's got this! I'm reminded of a line from the old Doogie Houser show: "yes, I'm young but I'm smart, if you'd rather have an older doc who doesn't know as much as I do that can be arranged!" Ha! All the medical (and other) professionals look young to me now!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you had to have surgery. But glad the surgeon was good! Take care of yourself as you recover.
