it's the asian autumn wall quilt....leaves are cherrywood solids, background a small asian piece that was just too pretty not to use, now used up and gone from the stash! in the hoop is the 'home sweet home' wall quilt, fitting as today is my 4-year anniversary as a marylander--a topic for another day.
probably be my first april finish....in the meantime, have been adding centers to the joseph's coat flimsy, which is more time consuming than putting together the rest of the top.
hoping you are finding the silver lining in the world-wide cloud. i know that each day that passes, i feel more and more blessed to be free from worry and stress, even though this thursday is yet ANOTHER non-quilty guild meeting day.....aarrrrrgh!
You're being amazingly productive; good for you! Four years?!!! REALLY?
ReplyDeleteAsian Autumn is a wonderful combination of unlikely fabric friends. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYou are busy, busy, busy, Grace. I know I will always be inspired and motivated when I visit here.
awww thanks janet
DeleteYou always have so many quilts on the go, Grace. I admire that and wish I could keep up with my ideas and in-progress quilts. Your Asian Autumn is beautiful but my favorite of the ones you've shown is the Joseph's Coat. It does look time-consuming to sew those circles but I think they enhance the quilt. I hope you are doing well.
ReplyDeletethanks for your lovely comments!
DeleteP.S. I love those daffodils in your header photo. We don't have them here in Ohio yet but soon, I think.
