now back to 'wensleydale' to see if 15 more blocks can get done this month...they'll be set 7x8 giving me a bigger quilt than i really wanted, but that should be the last big quilt i make...resolutely avoiding jen kingwell's website for fear my resolve will weaken....
back to see-saw weather with possible freeze tomorrow morning....say what??? 93 the other day and now this??? thankful winter things not yet put away but never fear, day will come too quickly when must...
hoping your week is sew-pieceful and blessed!

It's always wonderful to have a finish under your belt, even a small one indicates forward progress and success. On to your next goal! I know what you mean about the Jen Kingwell site, so much gorgeous work and so much complexity.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful autumnal table runner. Those trees look great all together like that. Looking forward to more Wensleydale blocks.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty palette for the autumn trees! And satisfying to have a finish to balance the ongoing Wensleydales.
ReplyDeleteWe had that winter weather last week and must have sent it your way. It froze all the blossoms on the peach, and walnut. The walnut trees looks so pathetic. It even scortched the new spring leaves. We're hoping it just thinned the pears and apples - we'll see. Your finish looks great. Glad your were able to get it done. I'm hoping for an April finish. But, in order to get the accuracy I want I decided to hand piece all the blocks together and it is taking hours. Your avoidance make me want to go look on Jen Kingwell's site, ha! Ha!
ReplyDeleteThe runner turned out so nicely!!! good for you!
ReplyDeletethanks...definitely a humble finish but will be a nice autumn color to the apt...
DeleteWell done and you can enjoy it this fall!
ReplyDeletethanks...when summer finally ends...lol
DeleteLove your runner. I have a tree quilt on my want to list.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a UFO cross off. It always feels great. You have been accomplishing so much.
