today is brother #2's birthday....he is 8 years younger than me so i remember clearly my mother being pregnant with him, her baby shower where she received 4 tiny adorable dresses that were passed on, the day he came home from hospital (halloween) and his growing up years...he was feisty and energetic from day one but has mellowed with age like all of us....
he's a grandfather now, a musician, an author, dad to 3....happy birthday bro!
week ahead wide open so making the list with high hopes...LOL...while rearranging stuff found this...
easy to machine quilt so will get 'er done and out of the waiting pile....
and a spring stitchery kit got pulled together....

I spent my morning planning out my week too. I collected the fabric for a project that's been on my mind for years. I fused the letters on a quilt top that has been waiting around for months. It's good to check in with things that need to be pushed forward. Cute little cross stitch pattern.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
You have a few nice projects to keep you busy! Have fun this week.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I've been doing lately, too. Are we nesting for winter? I have several small pieces I've layered and pinned and am going through the stash pulling for two serious projects. Feels good!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have a good week ahead. Have fun with your projects.
ReplyDeleteFunny how a little rearranging turns up things forgotten about. Happy stitching! I'm sure the shutdown has affected many in your area.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your brother! I was nine when my #2 brother was born.
ReplyDeleteI like the quilt you "found". That's always a fun surprise to come across a forgotten project, and so close to done is a bonus. And the red/green quilt- oh my, glorious. I hope you can finish it for Christmas time, too. I also like your term "rabbity" used in an earlier post. It definitefly fits me, too.
ReplyDeleteYou’re staying busy; such great finds to motivate finishes! I love the string rabbits too. ❤️ Wishing you all the best this week!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects! Love those bunnies! Have a wonderful week and birthday wishes for your bro!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of great projects. I love the quilt with all the bright fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSweet memories of your brother.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a fun find. Had you forgotten about that top?
That is a very cute little bunny stitchery. Will you finish it as shown in the pattern?
Christmas scraps in the last photo?
