that would be my quilting AND sewing mojo...a wacky sleep pattern has me snoozing in short increments and then wiped out the rest of the time...yeeech! time change maybe? partly and serious cabin fever too i think...and holidays approaching without our mum seems to have paralyzed me a bit....finally some family concerns have ironed out now, so maybe things will improve.
clocks turned back and i can get up at 6:30 now, at least on sunny mornings, without turning heat on. sunshine heats up my apartment quickly. but today i turned oven on for these...
another episode of drawer emptying coming up....pulled out these pieces to use up and bust more stash...
another small piece...once my joann order arrives i've a couple of things to baste, one a UFO i hope to finish in november whilst i continue quilting on bow ties...when the mojo gets fired up again of course...meanwhile, put off vacuuming and laundry will have to be reckoned with absolutely first. everything considered it's still a blessed day filled with thankfulness and hope...

I've talked to quite a few people of varying ages who say they are feeling ho hum about the things they usually enjoy. An epidemic of malaise, perhaps?! I'm glad for getting back to 'real' time which is in sync with my normal sleep pattern. Good for you to pull out projects and to determine to do them!
ReplyDeleteThere's a bag of Wyman's blueberries in our freezer! (The local supermarket stocks them.) And I have Marjorie Standish's cookbook, too. Kindred spirit! Hope your mojo gets a whiff of the muffins and comes to sit a spell with you.
ReplyDeleteYum, blueberry muffins sound good. Your Mojo may be missing but you are still planning and preparing, that is a good sign.
ReplyDeleteI think it is the time of year and now the time change. Your muffins look great!
ReplyDeleteOh, I remember the fresh blueberries from some of my visits to the state. Those muffins look so good!
ReplyDeleteI've been told your taste buds will eventually prefer the low salt diet. I haven't experienced that yet.
I look forward to seeing what you will create with those colorful 9-patch blocks.
We all go through stages where our sewjo disappears. However, it always seems to get homesick and return when it is ready. In the meantime, blueberry muffins sound like a great diversion.
ReplyDeleteour mojos eb and flow...........glad things are sorted out............the muffins look great..........
