indeed i do! working on my blocks for the corinne et cecile sew along...first block is done....once all are finished can assemble top, baste and quilt! may deadline...
and playing in the scraps is dangerous! have cut pieces for yet another project, small one, won't bust much but every bit supports emptying the drawer...
love my local library! picked up these two goodies today for nighttime read and daytime play. the blue stash is overflowing and itching to start one of these, but not just yet!
we are fortunate to have library of congress as one of our resources...this book didn't come from there but have gotten loaners from there before.
it's been in the 40s here this week with plenty of sunshine for a change. my maine relatives would LOVE to have 40s, but i am finding it too cold for me....i must be a real southerner now as i'm dreaming for the 80s and shorts every day!
The cat is so colorful and fun. This will make a great quilt. I used to go to the library all the time but since I've started quilting my time is taken up with stitching. Everyone says I need to get out more . . .
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your cat quilt. This one looks so fun!
ReplyDeleteThere is never a lack of projects at your place!
I love a blue/white quilt. Can't wait to see what you choose to create.
LOL--oh, you have been spoiled by the usually warmer temps, Grace. We have had the temps in the 40s through much of January, when we are usually in a deep freeze. They say it was our warmest January on record. And while the last few days have been rainy, we had a good snow today--but our warm, wet ground melted it almost as soon as it fell. But it was one of those lovely, Christmas card worthy snowfalls, with the fat, fluffy flakes floating lazily down in great numbers. Now if we get freezing temps in February, when we are usually getting the thaw we had in January this year, there will be a lot of disgruntled people in Northern Utah. :)
The blue quilts are GORGEOUS! I look forward to seeing what you choose.
ReplyDeleteI love JOhn Grisham books and the movies they made from some of them!
Gotta love that cat rockin' the sunglasses.
We have always had cats - and I love yours. I'm a little sad that I'm doing their animal sew along, but we can't do everything, right? I haven't read a Grisham in a while, I'll check it out.
ReplyDeleteI don't use the library nearly as much as I should.
Maryland has great public libraries. And John Grisham writes consistently good thrillers (35 years!). Cute cats.
