indeed i do! about breadbox size, the next size tote up from shoebox size.
january has been a scrap sewing month. so when a reproduction, tiny, 9-patch sew along was proposed, well i caved in a nanosecond. out came the 1.5" strips for blocks that will finish at 3"--that's as small as i can neatly do. it's year long so should have quite a collection of them when 2024 says goodbye.
and happy to report the first UFO finish of 2024...it's the bingo wall quilt...being donated to a local church for a bingo prize...pattern is moda love quilt.
i use no sugar hot chocolate to lessen the sugar hit. once the marshmallow is, ahem, gone, then i dunk my toast in it...yummy!

That will be such a great way to use your tiny strips. I can’t wait to see it grow. Well done on your first finish. Hot choc does sound the go with your weather. The marshmallow fluff sounds rather decadent. I hadn’t heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty small 9 patches which makes them so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a beautiful first finish for 2024!
I love hot chocolate, but no sugar, can't do it.
Looks as though most of the country is hunkering down -- though as I write the sun is shining and the sky is cloudless. Your repro project will be stunning with all those little 9ps. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSewing a quilt is a great way to keep warm. Those nine patches look great and so does Moda love.
ReplyDeleteThe cocoa looks so yummy with that big dollop of marshmallow cream. (Fluff). Makes me want to make some right away.
ReplyDeleteHmmm .... I think I will make some hot chocolate! Don't have fluff, never heard of it. Those nine patches are sweet and how big will the quilt be when finished?
ReplyDeleteThose 9 patches are a great use of your scraps!!
