are you--like me--feeling hugely blessed this morning after seeing devastation from tornado down south...i feel powerless to help other than a small donation to relief efforts...i do pray these are people of resilience and determination....
been hunkered down in the apartment while old blue subaru at hospital....lists helped keep me on track for what i wanted to accomplish....the trees did get basted but there were a few left over...
fashioned a little runner that'll get pressed and then machine quilted...and then there was some cross stitch, coming along nicely....
then some sewing on a secret project....
blues of course....nice batiks...and still hand quilting on the monthly goal of the solids squares....my tree is up and decorated....
Grace; you're right! We have so many blessings to count in light of the devastation that has befallen so many. It's so tragic. I join you in prayers for all those tornado victims. Oh, by the way, your cross stitch piece is just precious.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to conceive of a tornado barreling along for 200 miles. Thanks for the donation information.....Your little trees are so cute. Every time you make them I remind myself to try them.
ReplyDeleteLoved your three generation of dust bunnies. Those for tornado/s were awful. In some ways it looks like the scene after the fires in the west. And we’re having such weird weather — some days near or at 70 — and then it drops to quite cold. Just weird. Take care
