kyle chose pink and brown for her mini....mine is pink and black. i wanted to use a color that hardly gets chosen....this is 12x18, probably the smallest quilt i prefer to make. it's hand quilted, a true humble quilt. i've started on the december mini already, not quite as small as this one. check out wendy's blog for other minis of november....all very nice indeed!
for december's OMG, this mod type in solids will get finished. it isn't bed size, rather ideal for sofa or chair throw.
this will make finish lucky #13 for this year unless can pull out another small piece. looking forward to end of year wrap-up and plans for 2022...
I enlarged the photo of your mini and have to say I love the way your black print is complimented by the pink background. And it comes together beautifully with your hand quilting.
ReplyDeleteThat will make a colorful, cozy throw quilt!
thanks...one of my favorite blocks...hand quilting small projects is a challenge tho
DeleteAn unexpected color selection can be SEW nice to work with. Your mini turned out beautifully!

DeleteVery cute mini, Grace! I love how you can see one of two different patterns, depending on which one decides to be predominant at any given moment. Yes pink is getting its day this month, and looks great with the black. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteYour miniature quilt is beautiful. I like the pattern, that it's six blocks, and the colors are just right for each other.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mini quilt. Perfect.and yes also planning for 2022 projects here
