with inch-like progress but progress nonetheless.....home therapies in place and a real shower/shampoo rounded out the week. no sewing yet but have been working away on a small cross-stitch piece...
a little pattern called "quaker pumpkin" that'll make a nifty pin cushion when done....and this chuckle was in my mailbox earlier this week....
dear daughter and son-in-law arrived today for much needed support and brought back my new stash, all washed, dried and folded, patiently waiting for some fun....had forgotten what i had bought!

Progress is progress no matter what.... Love the picture...... And those fabrics well that's like shopping all over again if you forgot....... Goodluck keep improving....
ReplyDeleteThat is a very classy pumpkin in your cross-stitch!
ReplyDeleteYour card gave me a giggle. :)
I am glad to hear you are seeing improvement. Praying it continues.
A blessing to have your daughter and SIL nearby.
I'm so glad you have things to do when you can't quilt -- and so sorry you're in the situation not to be able to quilt. Thank goodness for help arriving.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics you bought and your pumpkin looks beautiful.
The card.... A few years ago we were at a before-Christmas evening event with plenty of people when I stumbled over a curb and fell in the midst of the crowd. I was surprised and was about to take a minute to sort myself out when a Good Samaritan arrived with the intent to immediately lift me to my feet, even though my legs were all akimbo. We finally got it sorted out and I was upright again. Anyway, that zebra on the card just brought the memory to mind. I just needed a minute....
Hugs Grace. Wishing you the best recovery possible.
