with rain coming down steady, an empty to-do list, listening to ambulance arrival (a regular occurrence here at mausoleum manor), no place have to go and just joy beckoning, sat down and sewed up a couple of "what if" blocks...
i know there is a cracker pattern project in my future....but what fabric genre? christmas? kaffe? scrappy? still deciding so will hang on design wall until little gray cells arrive at decision....in the meantime, hoping to spend the weekend on this flimsy-to-be...
so this is how it goes together.....5 circles wide and 6 rows in length....now that i've put together enough to get the hang of it and have sewed together all the melon sections....

Neat projects to be working on--keep it going!!
ReplyDeleteI too know what it is like to live in Senior Housing-have been doing it for going on 18 years now-(wow!!) No wonder I get the 'whines' now and then--and 3 different places and 2 different states and let me tell you--they are all the same--but I also realize that you and I are miles ahead of these other souls--as we sew and stitch and have a life--even in a stay at home year--we keep busy--the rest have nothing to do--nothing--they sit around and complain and bitch and steal and whatever else they can get away with--and management turns a blind eye!!!
so now lets get back to quilting--but first I have to take out the garbage and check the mail and do a walk--
luv, di
but i do get extremely angry to have my space violated, things stolen etc...like who raised these people? wolves??? their mothers didn't teach them much that's for sure...
DeleteCORRECTION....in dorchester ma....for a very short time...
DeleteChristmas Crackers would be fun! But other genres would work well, too. We are having a nor'easter today -- lots of wind but no rain.
ReplyDeleteit's rained here all day too...but 50s so tolerable....thanks for the feedback!
DeleteTee hee, when I read the title of this post I though, oh no, she has to sew pajamas! So glad to hear that you had happy sewing "in" your p.j.'s! Love the cracker blocks and I'm sure they will be great in any combo.
