that would be me and my two experts, so handy to have at my fingertips!
this is yet another project that was put off due to fear of messing it up...but after finishing one side, was anxious to gingerly continue and finally couldn't stop until the border was complete...the next border is another narrow pink and have several ideas to go on from there....trepidation aside, eager to continue until the top is finished....can't wait to use more of those lovely dutch chintz fabrics! the weekend is off to a smashing start!

DeleteExcellent job! I have that book and agree it’s a great resource. My quilt using that medallion is on the shelf, simmering for a while 🙂 and it will likely be many months till I get back to it. Look forward to seeing how yours develops.

ReplyDeleteI have a pieced border book, but it isn't that one. Can't recall the author at the moment and too lazy to go look. But I will agree that the border can make a huge difference in a quilt. Again, I am usually just too lazy to piece a border by the time I get to the edge. But when I push myself, I am always glad I did. The borders you put on that panel really showcase it well. Nicely done!
