another hot, mostly ho-hum day with only a few productive things accomplished....the early morning exercise, a load of laundry and this....
some psychedelic spools, little ones, finish at 3"....the fabrics (not the white) were scraps gifted to me last june by dear friend marianne. the pieces were all small...but the solids were hand dyes and i know they are pricey so wanted to definitely use them. there was only enough of the glittery print for 14 hence the middle one with white sides. i owe the day's fun to her and gained a cute little wall quilt or maybe topper or maybe placemat. i think she would approve. *** more quilting got done on the orange scrappy and with 2 more days of air conditioner isolation, just might get it done by next friday. *** maryland has rolled back all indoor dining again but positivity rating still low ....and now it's pajama o'clock.....
Oooh... that's a pretty spool quilt. And, yes the background fabric really makes it sing. Va's numbers are creeping up to. The only "good" thing is it is southern Va -- I think Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Va. Beach. Hope the weather breaks soon. All these 95+ days is annoying.
