august is whizzing by and my month of autumn projects is moving along as well. goal is to be finished by september, if not the first then soon after. what's finished?
the two pumpkin wall pieces need basting and quilting...and that will wrap up autumn stuff. one never knows what sells at these events but i've enjoyed making them and they will find a home if they don't sell...all items made from fabrics on hand too!
over the weekend made these 2 little baskets thinking they are ideal for that teacher, minister, office swap, dog walker, cleaning lady or who? simply add a few trinkets like teas, cookies/sweets, makeup, garden seeds, doggie treats, cook's tools, office supplies, sewing/embroidery notions, gift cards! planning a few more....love playing in the kaffe scraps and they finish up fast, so definitely a win/win!
count myself fortunate to have quilty bloggers around the world to visit and travel with them vicariously....australia is an amazing place to see

Beautiful projects--I like the small totes for gift bags--great idea!
ReplyDeletei made them long ago and yes they are perfect for a small gift...will be selling them to reflect that
DeleteYour Jack lanterns and bags are cute.
ReplyDeletethanks...fun sewing!
DeleteOh I know how smoking can ruin things. My neighbour also smokes and it comes in my back door in the evening so I have to close up the house early to avoid it.
ReplyDeleteyes this selfish old buzzard a real grinch
DeleteI'm sorry you have to put up with the smoke.
ReplyDeletehaving bad luck at senior housing...people who can't follow rules belong in a homeless shelter, don't deserve a comfy apt...
Deletethe do nothing managers always make it my fault...
DeleteMore nice projects! Five more weeks until our first frost so seeing your autumn projects is certainly bringing that season nearer for me.
