farmer's wife progress

the latest 4 in the farmer's wife sew-along, papers not yet removed.  when this sew-along was started, all fabrics in these color families were put into a bag, and this was the kind you take to the supermarket...that big!  then, a few others found their way into the bag via the postman.  even so, have busted some pieces completely.  just this morning a 2.5" strip--background on bottom left--was totally used.  a small piece, but gone nonetheless.  just over 1/3rd finished with this, and anticipating to see the bag's contents decrease even more.  now back to quilting.....

  1. How fun to see such awesome blocks appear from the fabrics from the bag. Hope its contents are greatly dimished by the end!

  2. I am really loving your color palette on these blocks.
Hey, if the bag gets so low you run out of choices, I can help replenish. Still have more of that fabric I was gifted last year.

  3. Ahh, the magic bag from which beautiful blocks appear! They are so perfectly pieced with that paperpiecing method, nice work!

  4. Beautiful! Love those colors! Sew all you want, I'm betting you'll never see the bottom of the bag. They just multiply!
